Happy Christmas!

The whole gang!
LtoR: Maddi, Bekah, Mike, Moni, Uncle Dean, Auntie Brenda, Mallory, Aryn, Nana, Grandpa, Dad, Mom, Makinzee, Courtney, Josh, & Me!
My Auntie Breanda, Mom, Nana, & Grandpa
All the Men! Oh, plus Nana!

The whole entire Duncan Family got together Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas. It was so "MAGICAL".
We had so much fun; playing games, watching movies, painting fingernails, opening presents, having traditions, and most of all just having fun!
Christmas morning we all woke up, went upstairs and waited for everyone else to wake up, and went back to the basement to open presents. It was so fun to see everyone so excited to see what they got, and what Santa brought!
Mallory had a wonderful idea to make mix CD's for everyone in the family. The #1 song on all the CD's and the last song on all the CD's was the same. The first track is Kris Allen, "Live Like We're Dying", and the last track is Michael McLean, "We Will be Together Forever".
I am so thankful that this year I was able to be with my ENTIRE family for Christmas. It was so nice to get everyone together. We had so much fun, and we will have so many memories from this Christmas.
Thanks to my entire family for making this a Christmas to remember!

Whirlwind!

I know its been forever since I have last blogged! Like, we're talking months! The past few weeks have been such a whirl wind (hence, the blog title!), I took my last final today. Which is such a relief. I didnt think that I would be anymore happy for school to get over than I was this semester!
I cant believe Christmas is right around the corner! I was listening to Christmas music in my car, and Josh got in, and was like, "its too early to listen to Christmas music." Whatever! Christmas is like NEXT week!
I love this time of year! We get to refelct back on everything that has happened the past year! I am so thankful to live in such a beautiful place. I have everything I need; a loving family, a wonderful husband, my health, a house, a car, I could go on and on. But more importantly, my grandparents. Life has changed alot lately, and I am not sure how much longer I can say I still have both sets of grandparents living! I cant express my love for my family at this time, especially my mom. I cant wait for Christmas in Tooele with EVERYONE, cousins, aunt and uncle, sisters, parents, husband, maybe even dogs! :)
Sorry I dont have any pictures or anything, and this is just a ramble, but I just want my family to know how much I love them, and how thankful I am for them!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Anniversary!

Yesterday was me and Josh's 2 year anniversary! I cant believe it has been that long since we got married!
We both worked til late, I actually got home after Josh did, which is rare! We went down to Provo, and had dinner at Chili's, and walked around Costco. We didnt do much of anything but spend time together, and I wouldnt have had it any other way!
Josh is such a great guy! I fall in love with him every day all over again! I am one lucky girl! :)
Here are some pictures of us through our whole two years of being married, and three years of being together!

Happy Birthday Josh! 9/9/09

I am so bad at blogging! Josh's birthday was like two weeks ago! We had some friends, and family stop by for an "ice cream social"! (Labor Day weekend we went to the Sand Dunes for Josh and Chris Ivie's Birthday.) It turned out great! And Steve even came all the way from Provo!
Thanks to everyone who stopped by, and wished Josh a Happy 23rd Birthday!

The whole gang, Greg & Megan, Devan & Spencer, Ashley, Steve, My parents, and Josh.
Megan said, in honor of Joshs birthday, she was going to dress like him, boots and all! Their shirts were even the same color! Oh, and her belt buckle said "redneck!"

We had sweet posters of all the popular TV shows during the 90's, sweet tunes from the 90's. Even the invitations were on CD's with sweet music from the 90's! It really turned out to be a fun bithday!
Thanks for everyone who came, and everyone who wished me a happy birthday!

Steeeeve!

Thats right everyone! Elder Calderwood has honorably returned home after serving the Lord for two years. Well actually more than two years... On Friday July 24th at about 11:00 am Steve came up the escalator at the Salt Lake Airport and CHEERS were echoing as we all saw him!

We sure did miss him! Pretty much every day since he got back we have hung out with him and reminisced about the "old times".

We missed him, ALOT! And are so glad he made it back from Sundai, Japan safe!

Fourth of July!

This weekend Josh and I along with our very best friends Greg and Megan, Spencer and Devan, Garret and Mari (who got engaged Monday! Congrats! :)), and Steve went to the Hot Rockin' Fourth Derby in Ogden, Utah.

Me and Megan thought it would be funny to buy some "tattoos" for the derby.

Spencer and Garret were both in the derby, and at the last minute so was Greg. Greg drove in the truck derby, and Spencer and Garret were both driving cars.

**Spencer made it to the last heat. He ended up getting third place!!**

This is Spencer in the last heat. He is such a crazy/good driver! I would never be able to derby!

Super Heroes!

Last night, Josh's dad needed to go to the hospital. He poked his finger, and they think he got an infection. Josh and his mom took him there, and I offered to watch Keldon, and put him to bed. I figured we could run around a little, and I would make sure he got extra tired. We played Super Heroes. We shot guns at each other and hid around the house for about an hour. It was a really good time. Then after that we read some dinosaur books, and went to sleep.
**Side note, this is Josh's little brother. Josh was like 16 and a half when his mom had him. Josh is not the oldest, but for 16 and a half years he was the youngest in his family! Josh has an older brother, 2 older sisters, and one younger brother!**
Our guns and "specs". (to see in the dark rooms)

First Dunes Trip 2009

This weekend, Josh, me, and Greg went to the dunes. It was so nice to just get away. The weather was perfect, and there was hardly anyone there. We had so much fun!

While we were there, I raced Josh up a hill, and I won... Yup, thats right, I beat Josh. Its cause I am so much better at riding than him. :)
Just thought I would rub it in your face, babe!

While we were there, Greg picked up a new habit! ha Just kidding, His flag broke off, and while we were loading the four wheelers, I looked back, and Greg was "smoking"

valentines day

I can't believe how many comments I got on my last post! Thanks for making me feel like I am not the only one who has so many irrational fears! :)

Megan, Greg, Ashley, Chris, me, and Josh
For Valentines Day this year, me and Josh, along with our FABULOUS friends, Megan and Greg Jacobsen and Ashley and Chris Ivie, went to Bear Lake. We had so much fun! The girls made breakfast every morning, and the house smelled like bacon all weekend because of it! The boys played ping pong (they seriously were obsessed!) all day. At nights we cuddled on the couch watching seasons 3 and 4 of The Office. During the day we went extreme sledding!
We had 3 sleds and tied rope to the back of the truck. Needless to say at the end of the trip all 3 sleds were broken! We only suffered minor injuries included a split knee that Megan super glued (Josh), a swollen ankle (That was me... It didnt hurt till we went home! ha), and an entire arm from the elbow to the wrist bruised (Megan).

The boys trying to ski.

Can you spy Josh in this picture? He's there I promise!

Josh, Greg, and Ashley. Sorry about the annoying voice. Its me! :)

Valentines Day, we woke up, made breakfast, went extreme sledding, came home, got in the hot tub to warm our little toesies, showered (Me and Josh had cold showers cause we were the last ones!), and went and ate at the Famous Old Ephraims Pizza Place. (If any of you have been to Bear Lake, you will know what I am talking about!) We bought some chocolate covered raspberries, and enjoyed our pizza! We came home and played the Newlywed Game, our own version of it! The boys then wanted to make up their own questions, and quiz us. We then played Curses, and Blurt till the wee hours of the night.

We did not order Old Ephraim. Chris tried to talk us into getting it. We got 2 papa sized ones, and didnt finish!

Sunday Morning we woke up, ate some french toast, and watched The Office. The boys fixed the sleds that were broken, then we were off again to go extreme sledding!
We ended up staying till Monday morning, and on our way home, Ashley spotted a goat stuck in the fence in a little town outside of Bear Lake. The boys rescued it and another that was stuck.

We had such a fun weekend! Thanks Megan and Greg for inviting us! And, a HUGE thanks to my family for watching the little guys! :)
